May Procession: Crowning of Mary, Our Lady of the Highway

This beautiful celebration honoring the Virgin Mother begins with the procession of the school children on Friday afternoon. The following Sunday at the 10:00 Mass we have the parish procession inside the church. An eighth grade girl is chosen for the honor of placing the crown on Mary's statue. These celebrations provide a fitting beginning to the month in which we honor the Mary, the Mother of Jesus and celebrate Mother's Day.

Corpus Christi Procession

After the Noon Mass on the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, eucharist is led in procession out of the church, through the parking lot, down the street, and back into the church, with incense and singing. Join as Jesus blesses the neighborhood with his True Presence!

Solemnity of the Assumption, in Memory of Elvis Presley

August 15 is always a Holy Day of Obligation for Catholics in the United States. Here at St. Paul, the mass intention for our 3:00 PM Mass is for Elvis Presley. Visitors from around the world join St. Paul's parishioners in a very moving and spirit-filled liturgy. With music led by the St. Paul Choir, we gather together a great mix of languages, cultures, and religious backgrounds to remember, give thanks, and pray. This mass celebrates Our Lady and pays our respects to our former Whitehaven neighbor, Elvis.

Other annual events include:

The Festival of Saints
The Blessing of Births
The Parish Picnic
